Tonight made me a proud father. And at the same time, I realized I need to purchase at least one more computer for the office.

Tonight I come home to my 5 year old son telling me that he was going to build a “real computer” with the parts I have in boxes in my office. Apparently he was not content with the “here son, plug this ps/2 keyboard into an open expansion bay” from the night before.

Then to top that off, my 3 year old daughter was, we'll say, “highlighting important information” in my XHTML book with a crayon.

My oldest is the only one who doesn't seem as interested in computers. Not that a 3 year old with a new coloring book titled “XHTML in Plain English” is interested in computers. However, she does watch my 5 year old play games, and surf pbskids.org. So there's still hope!!

BTW, does anyone have a good recommendation for a paint program that is designed for kids (age 3-8)? Paint is to basic IMO, and PS Elements is a bit to much. Something with nice big buttons, easy to access color palette, etc would be perfect.
