Felt the need to plug the Heartland Developer Conference 2005 tonight. I attended last years event here in Des Moines, and am currently planning on making the trip to Cedar Rapids to attend this years event. The HDC is put on by various User Groups in the Midwest region, and had tremendous turnout last year. This year is expected to be even better.

Best part is: The cost is only $75 for the 2 day event!

I do have to say that I am a bit concerned about the move to Cedar Rapids from Des Moines, however, I think (hope) the speakers scheduled, and the doubling of sessions will help draw users from additional eastern cities (Chicago, St Louis).
