Echo 9'er 9'er... Come in Papa Smurf

Posted on March 30, 2005 03:21 by LeviRosol

Found a link on TheServerSide.com[^] to a web framework that is apparently based on the Ajax methodologies. The framework is called Echo2[^], and appears to be php based. The demo links were all broken, and I didn't have time to download and take a look at what these guys are doing, but it looks pretty promising. When I get back from the SQL Summit in Minneapolis later this week, I'll make some time to take a look.

Side note. It's interesting to me how one person out on the Internet can write an article only last month[^], coining a new phrase/term/acronym, and now a fair number of people, including myself, are using it to describe work they are doing now, or have in the past. Heck, now we even have an open source project using it to describe itself. Neat.

Here's another interesting read: Goodbye WebForms[^]
