...and just got smoked by pocket bullets... So much for that online tournament.
Anyways, back to the topic everyone is asking about (I've been asking myself that is). Yeah, I stayed up for another hour after I made that last post. No, I was not able to see Team Foundation Server perform in all it supposed glory. Instead, I got a 'you can a keep on a knockin but you can't come in' sign. Funny thing is, at that hour, I think I could actually hear Cheech saying that to me. Sadly I could not find a sound bite on the internet to link to for you. :)
So the story continues. I did some research, and it seems that others are having the same issue I am. I have tried using the gssutil command tool, however, it cannot find the adm profile. In addition, when I look through the users in my Active Directory, I only see one new user, and it appears to be for source control only. I do not see a TFSAdmin role anywhere. So, for the time being, I have given up. I have started spending my evenings playing San Andreas and UT 2004 again. I'll get bored of that by the end of the week, and will probably be taking a second try at Team Foundation Server again this weekend.
Maybe I'll be lucky enough to win the software package Jeff Brand is giving out at the next Iowa .Net Developer meeting[^]. If not, I am at least going to have a chat with him about the install of Team Foundation Server.
